By downloading or using Ledger ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Ledger is a vehicle maintenance tracking app that allows you to log services, track costs, store receipt photos, and export maintenance reports. The App is provided by Anthony Da Silva.
Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Ledger offers a free tier with limited features and optional Pro subscriptions (monthly and annual) as well as a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
- Free trial: Eligible users may receive a 7-day free trial for subscription plans. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the first subscription period.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refunds: All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your Data
All vehicle and maintenance data you enter is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, data is also stored in your private iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for any data loss.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of tracking vehicle maintenance. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with the App's functionality or infrastructure
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and content, is the property of Anthony Da Silva and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anthony Da Silva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccurate maintenance records.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
